Our Mission

Dear Reader,

During an independent research project, I learned that when CPR is performed within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest, the chance of survival can be doubled or tripled. However, CPR bystander rates in the U.S. fall between 15-45%. In some cities in China, the CPR bystander rate is as low as 5%. When I decided to improve matters, Project CPR was born.

The Project CPR team works to provide CPR education in schools that lack programs, and to lessen the fear and hesitation around this life-saving technique. We want people to know that it isn't necessary to be a doctor or an EMT to resuscitate a person in need.
